Submit your photo for a chance to win $50 in Horton's Quality merchandise! Horton Photo Contest: Official Rules No Purchase Necessary. This contest is open to legal U.S. residents at least 18 years of age at the date of entry. Employees of Horton’s Handcrafted Quality (Horton’s), Forest Top Holdings, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. One entry per person per calendar month. Void outside of the U.S. and where restricted or prohibited by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. All photos must be in submitted in JPEG format with a minimum file size of .5 megabytes and maximum file size of 1 megabyte and must be accompanied by an entry form. Files in .zip format will not be opened or considered. Receipt of photos will not be acknowledged. All photo contest entries become the property of Horton’s Handcrafted Quality and will not be returned. All photos must be accompanied by the name of the person or canine in the photo, the state in which the photo was taken, and a caption of 30 words or less describing the photo. All photos and submission information is subject to verification by Horton’s. Entrant may request that their last name be withheld from publication for security purposes on request. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete the entry form below and attach a photo. Entries must be original, and may not have been previously published. There is no restriction on when the photo was taken. Horton’s reserves the right to reject and disqualify any entry which Horton’s, in its sole discretion, determines to be inconsistent with its reputation. Horton’s assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures or lost email entries. JUDGING: All entries received will be judged by Horton’s based on photo quality, composition and creativity of image. One winner will be chosen. Decision of judges is final and binding in all respects. PRIZE: One (1) Prize will be awarded. Winner will receive a certificate good for $50 US in products manufactured by Horton’s. There is no cash value or award, and items received by the winner may not be returned for cash at a later date. Winners agree that items received shall not be sold. What the lawyers want you to know about submitting your photos: By submitting your photo, you grant a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content throughout in any editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes in any media, including the internet. You grant Horton’s, the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if we choose. Entrants who do not agree to this use should not enter this contest. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you submit; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Horton’s for all claims resulting from content you supply. Horton’s reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel contest if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, Horton’s reserves the right to award the prize to an eligible, non-suspect, entry received prior to date of cancellation. Winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Ownership and Release of Liability/Publicity and Copyright Assignment unless prohibited by law, and return these documents within seven days of notification attempt, or forfeit prize. If forfeited, another winner will be selected. Any applicable local, state or federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. By participating, entrants release Horton’s, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, respective officers, director, employees and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the contest or any prize awarded.
